Services

Five Seasons Radon provides radon testing, radon mitigation system installation, radon fan replacement, and related services for residential and commercial properties in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and surrounding areas including Linn County and portions of Johnson County.

Our services include but are not limited to:

• Sub-slab depressurization system design and installation
• Radon mitigation system installation
• Radon fan replacement and repair
• Post-mitigation testing and verification

Estimates and Pricing

All estimates provided by Five Seasons Radon are based on the information available at the time of assessment. Estimates are provided free of charge and are non-binding until a formal service agreement is signed.

Final pricing may vary from initial estimates if unforeseen conditions are discovered during installation, including but not limited to unusual foundation configurations, accessibility challenges, or the need for additional suction points. Any changes to the agreed-upon price will be communicated and approved by the property owner before additional work is performed.

Payment terms and accepted methods will be outlined in your service agreement.

Scheduling and Access

By scheduling a service appointment, you agree to:

• Provide reasonable access to the areas of your property where work will be performed
• Ensure that the work area is accessible and free of obstructions to the extent possible
• Provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment
• Be available or designate an authorized representative to be present during the service

Warranties and Guarantees

Five Seasons Radon provides the following warranties on our work:

• Radon Level Guarantee: We guarantee that our mitigation systems will reduce radon levels below the EPA action level of 4 pCi/L. If post-mitigation testing shows levels at or above 4 pCi/L, we will return and make adjustments at no additional charge until levels are reduced below 4 pCi/L.
• Workmanship Warranty: We warrant our installation workmanship for a period consistent with industry standards. Defects in installation will be repaired at no cost to the property owner.
• Equipment Warranty: Radon fans and other equipment are covered by their respective manufacturer warranties. We will assist with warranty claims and facilitate replacements as needed.

Warranties do not cover damage resulting from misuse, unauthorized modifications, natural disasters, structural changes to the property, or failure to maintain the system as recommended.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Iowa law, Five Seasons Radon shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with our services or your use of our website.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Radon mitigation reduces radon levels but does not eliminate all radon from a property. We do not guarantee that radon levels will remain at a specific level indefinitely, as radon levels can fluctuate due to environmental and structural factors. Regular testing is recommended.

Intellectual Property

All content on the fiveseasonsradon.com website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Five Seasons Radon or its content suppliers and is protected by United States copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on this website without our prior written consent.
